Terry L. Boop, 62, Lewisburg

Terry L. Boop, 62, of 606 Dreisbach Church Rd., since 1983, a resident of Dreisbach Church Rd for the past 55 years, entered into rest at 12:45 p.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at his home.

He was born February 24, 1951, in Lewisburg, a son of the late Clarence, Jr., and Madelyn (Slusser) Boob. On October 25, 1968, in Lewisburg, he married the former Nancy L. Lohr, who survives.

Terry was a 1969 graduate of Mifflinburg High School.

He was employed at East-West Drilling, Inc., for the past 5 years. Terry loved farming on the Boop family dairy farm his entire life.

Terry enjoyed farming, test driving new trucks, and his cats, especially "Little Boy". Terry had a great sense of humor, and loved to make people happy. He especially loved his grandkids, who affectionately knew him as "Papa".

Surviving in addition to his wife of 44 years, are two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Allen Chupp of North Lawerence, OH, and DeAnn and Roy Grady of Elizabethtown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Tara Boop of Boiling Springs, and Kris and Rachel Boob of Harrisburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Barb and John Comey of Camp Hill; and 7 grandchildren, Weston, Nyree, Zack, Colter, Mason, Avery, and Zoe.

Family and friends are welcome from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, and 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m., with ministers Albert Knaggs, Robert Flippo, and Delmar Stockwell, officiating.

Burial will be in the Dreisbach Church Cemetery.
