Thomas E. Bryner, Jr., 53, of 1510 State Route 235, since 1999, entered into rest at 9:05 a.m., Sunday, June 9, 2013, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born June 9, 1960, in Lewistown, a son of Thomas E. Bryner, Sr. of Mifflintown, and Judith D. Nace of McAlisterville. On October 16, 1999, in McAlisterville, he married the former Catherine S. Gross, who survives.
Thomas was a 1978 graduate of Juniata High School, where he played drums in the band.
He was employed at American Aluminum, Middletown, and earlier in life worked at Ritz-Craft, Mifflinburg, and Riverwoods, Lewisburg.
Thomas honorably served in the Air Force.
He attended the Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurelton.
Thomas was a slot car enthusiast, enjoyed playing the drums, racing go-carts with his dad, riding his Harley Davidson, and especially spending time with his grandson, Wyatt.
Surviving in addition to his parents and wife of 13 years, are one son, Kevin T. Bryner of Harrisburg; one daughter, Kimberly A. Bryner of Millerstown; one grandson, Wyatt E. Bryner-Jacobs of Millerstown; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Robin Bryner of Mifflintown, and Kelly Bryner of Beavertown; one sister, Vicki L. Ehrenzeller and Chip Aumiller of McVeytown; his step-mother, Julie Bryner of Mifflintown; and many neices and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Harry "Bussy" Nace.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, and from 10:30 a.m. to 11a.m., Thursday, at the Lincoln Chapel United Methodist Church, Laurelton, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. Mark Messner, officiating.
Burial will be in the Lincoln Chapel Cemetery.
