Violet V. Blyler, 72, Lewisburg
Violet Viola Blyler, 72, of 207 Walnut St., formerly of Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 4:50 p.m., Sunday, March 4, 2012, at Kramm Healthcare and Rehabilitation, Milton.
She was born October 11, 1939, in New Berlin, a daughter of the late John and Lottie (Shemory) Weller. On June 26, 1956, in Mifflinburg, she married Charles A. Blyler, who survives.
Violet attended the West Milton United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Womens' Group.
She attended Mifflinburg High School.
Violet was employed at Furman Foods, Northumberland, for many years.
She enjoyed shopping, puzzles, ceramics, and yard sales.
Surviving in addition to her husband of 55 years, are one son and daughter-in-law, John and Patty Blyler of Middleburg; four daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia and Jon Jesse of Virginia, Viola and Terry Wilver of Milton, Wanda and Dan Kemrer of Milton, and Rose and Vincent Shemory of Mifflinburg; one sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Richard Derr of Montandon; one brother, Raymond Weller of Mount Pleasant Mills; one step-sister, Cathy Biar of Forksville; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
Family and friends are welcome to the viewing from 10 a.m.to 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the West Milton United Methodist Church, 310 High St., where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. John Lee and Rev. Wayne Shamer, officiating.
Burial will be in the Greenlawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to either the S.P.C.A., 2801 Bloom Rd., Danville, PA 17821, or to Evangelical Hospice, 1 Hospital Dr., Lewisburg, PA 17837.
