Virginia Mowery

Virginia “Ginnie” A. Mowery, 55, of 199 Oberdorf Lane, Mifflinburg, entered into rest at 7:28 a.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
She was born March 27, 1962, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Dorothy V. (Heimbach) Smith of Mifflinburg and the late Albert L. Smith, Jr.
Ginnie was a 1980 graduate of Mifflinburg High School and a 1994 graduate of Danville School of Nursing.
She was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in home health nursing and various area nursing homes.
Virginia was a member of the Forest Hill Evangelical Methodist Church.
She loved animals and children.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her companion, Robert L. Collier of Mifflinburg; one daughter Lana M. Collier of Mifflinburg; one sister, Gloria J. Phillips of Muncy; two grandchildren, Justin L. Mummey and Christian R. Mummey; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, at the Forest Hill Evangelical Methodist Church, 2035 Walbash Rd., Mifflinburg, where the funeral will be conducted at 2, with Rev. Brent Lenhart, officiating.
Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
