MILLMONT – Teresa M. Welsh, 52, of 841 Lamey Rd., entered into rest at 8:50 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 2015, in Duncannon, due to injuries sustained after being struck by an automobile while flagging on the job.
She was born April 24, 1962, in Lewisburg, a daughter of Charles E. and Patricia A. (Reeder) Chappell, of Watsontown. On October 19, 2005, in Millmont, she married Charles W. Welsh, who survives.
Teresa attended Milton High School.
She was a self-employed transportation escort driver and also worked at the Loyal Order of Moose, Mifflinburg, and V.F.W. Post 1960, Mifflinburg.
Teresa was a member of the Women of the Moose, Mifflinburg.
She enjoyed cooking, working in her flower bed, taking care of her dog and cats, and other animals, and spending time with her family and many friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents, are two sons, Charles W. Blue of Mifflinburg, and Dennis J. Aikey of Milton; one daughter and son-in-law, Shawna M. and Eugene MInnick of Bloomsburg; one sister, Bonnie J. Liddington and her companion Corey G. Shambach of Middleburg; one grandson, Austin Reigle; mother-in-law, Gwen Moyer of Mifflinburg; sister-in-law, Terri and her husband Eric Krimmel of Lancaster; brother-in-law, John Welsh of South Carolina; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles E. Chappell, Jr., and Todd A. Chappell.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
The funeral service and cemetery committal service will be conducted privately at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, to assist Teresa’s family defray funeral costs, memorial contributions may be made to Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg, PA 17844.
