William Oldt

William "Bill" M. Oldt, 85, Mifflinburg

William Marvin Oldt, 85, of 3725 Forest Hill Rd., entered into Heaven to be with Leona at 6:42 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2013, at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

He was born March 21, 1928, in Snyder County, a son of the late Charles and Catherine Pauline (Bowersox) Oldt. He was married to Leona Mae Koonsman, who preceded him in death October 21, 1994.

Bill was employed at Yorktowne, Mifflinburg, for 32 years, until he retired in 1990.

He was a member of the Christ Community Church of Glen Iron.

Bill was very active and enjoyed gardening, hunting, and spending time with his family.

Surviving are his companion, Laura M. Campbell of Mifflinburg; one son and daughter-in-law, Corey and Carole Oldt of Millmont; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kay and Charles Mabus, Jr. of Millmont, and Amy Knechel and her companion Chad Dreese of Freeburg; 7 grandchildren and their spouses, Brian and Jennifer Mabus, Eric and Sally Mabus, and Kirt and Stephanie Mabus, Bradley Oldt and his companion Bethany Smith, and Whitney and Jim Sowers; and two step grandchildren and their spouses, Daniel and Kim Oberlin and Crystal and Kirk Wirth; 12 great grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one half-brother, Sherman Fetterolf.

Family and friends are welcome from 11 a.m. to noon, Tuesday, at the Christ Community Church of Glen Iron, 2746 State Route 235, where the funeral will be conducted at noon, with Pastor Richard VonNeida, officiating.

Burial will be in the Hartleton Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are by Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg.
