William "POP" H. Wellema, 76, Millmont

William "POP" H. Wellema, 76, of 6290 Creek Rd., for the past 12 years, formerly of Paterson, New Jersey, entered into rest at 10:45 a.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at his home.

He was born November 12, 1935, inWest Paterson, NJ, a son of the late Hildebrant and Ida Mae (Morgan) Wellema.

William was employed at Warren Brothers Quarry, Prospect Park, NJ, for 25 years, and later at Mona Industries chemical plant, Paterson, for 25 years, until he retired in 2001.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Geraldine Wellema of Totowa, NJ, and William H. and Lisa Wellema of Little Falls, NJ; two daughters and one son-in-law, Laura M. and Thomas Yurga of Pompton Lakes, NJ, and Cheryl Gravino of Pompton Plains, NJ; and 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Matt; and three sisters, Viola, Eleanor, and Hilda.

Visitors are welcome from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, at the Roupp Funeral Home, Inc., 8594 Old Turnpike Rd., Mifflinburg. Visitors are also welcome from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday, at the Festa Memorial Funeral Home, 111 Union Blvd., Totowa, New Jersey, where the funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday.
