Wilma P. Threet, 78, Winfield

Wilma P. Threet, 78, of 18 Shawna Lane, for the past seven years, formerly of Byrdstown, Tennessee, and Adrian, Michigan, entered into rest at 5:40 a.m., Sunday, January 15, 2012, at SUN Home Hospice Care Center, Sunbury.

She was born October 20, 1933, in Adrian, Michigan, a daughter of the late Seward and Esther (Dickerson) Deming. On July 11, 1950, she married Rev. Bobby Carl "B.C." Threet. He preceded her in death May 24, 2011.

Wilma most recently attended the Chapman Community Chapel, Port Trevorton.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Ricky D. Threet of Winfield and his fiance Julie Fernsler of Montoursville, and Phil C. and Marlene J. Threet of Mifflinburg; two daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara J. and Steve Wilbert of Port Trevorton, and Kim D. and Kii Z. Fisher of Shamokin Dam; 10 grandchildren; 7 step-grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Darrel Threet; two brothers, Ely Deming and DeVere Deming; and one sister, Ruth Sallows.

Family and friends are welcome from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Thursday, at the Chapman Community Chapel, 94 Silver Creek Rd., Port Trevorton, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m., with Rev. Kevin Rathmell, officiating.

Burial will be in the Wayside Cemetery, Middleburg.
